Newsflash / Quote of the Day

"The reality of life is that your perceptions – right or wrong – influence everything else you do. When you get a proper perspective of your perceptions, you may be surprised how many other things fall into place."

MANY THANKS...

...to Bob Miller and the team at P&G as our gracious hosts for the 2nd meeting of the Midwest BUG. We had 17 participants for what many have said was fun, lively, and educational. Bob, the food, and especially your hospitality, was very much appreciated. And, thank you for sharing so much of what you and P&G do with the Birkman. Thank you.

FREE WEBINAR:

Many of you who attended the 1st Midwest BUG may recall the generous gift Matt Zamzow offered the participants of the 1st Midwest BUG. Matt offered those who attended the first BUG one free webinar. In order to receive this free gift, Matt informs me that you should register for a Webinar as normal. They have a roster of the 1st Midwest BUG attendees and will apply the credit appropriately.

OCT 06 CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS:

In our continued effort to share and spread our collective Birkman knowledge and materials, some of you asked if I could upload and share the presentations I received when I attended the Oct 06 Birkman conference. I am very happy to report that we received permission from Carol Buckner to upload this very valuable information to our Midwest BUG website (yet

another incentive for your to register at www.midwestbug.org )  (Editor's Note:  These presentations are now available in the downloads section - for registered MidWestBUG users only)

OUR WEBSITE:

Marvelous! We have 18 registered users on our official website www.midwestbug.org . For those of you who have not registered yet....you may be interested to know that we plan on using this website to share materials with each other. Rod has already posted some of the materials that P&G and my colleague Vivian Kist have submitted. These materials can be found under the "Downloads" section. Feel free to send Rod Martin an email if you would like to share something.

Also, don't forget, we have our own "Message Board" on the site too. This is a great way ask each other questions or share insights.

OUR MIDWEST BUG DATABASE:

You may not be aware that we actually have our own Midwest BUG database at Birkman Direct. This database can be used to share our own Birkman Profiles. The database can be accessed at: http://direct.birkman.com Username:

Midwest;  Password: bug. Currently, only two members of the MidWest BUG have chosen to add their profile. (Yes, I know I have not added mine yet either - I will soon). But, feel free to send Birkman the attached release form and ask them to add your profile. Perhaps at a future date we can have a session just about sharing our own Profiles and how we see them in our lives?

Some of you asked about the training that Patti Corbett sponsors. Her website for Birkman training is:
